Absolutely not. Tally AI never asks for your bank account details, BVN, NIN, or any banking credentials — ever.

Tally AI is not a bank and does not connect to your bank account. You simply tell Tally what you spent or received by sending a WhatsApp message, and it logs it for you. That is the whole model.

Tally AI supports all five major Nigerian languages:

You choose your language when you first sign up, and you can change it at any time by sending "change language" to the bot.

Tally AI uses an AI language model to understand the meaning of your messages — not just keywords. This means you can write naturally, the way you actually talk, and Tally will figure out what you mean.

It works best with short, clear messages of 3-4 items at a time. For very long lists, send them in batches.

Yes. We take your data security seriously. All data is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS encryption. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. Access to your data is strictly controlled.

Yes — voice notes are supported on the PRO plan. Just press and hold the microphone button in WhatsApp and say what you spent. Tally AI will transcribe your voice note and log the transaction automatically.

For example, you can say: "I spent four thousand five hundred on chicken and one thousand two hundred on tomatoes at the market" — and Tally will log both transactions separately.

Voice note transcription is powered by Groq's AI transcription service. Your audio is processed for transcription only and is not stored. You will be asked for consent the first time you send a voice note.

Tally AI works best when you send expenses in small batches of 3-4 items at a time. If your message is very long (more than 6 lines or 500 characters), Tally will ask you to break it into smaller batches.

Yes, at any time. Send "delete my account" to the Tally AI bot on WhatsApp, or email [email protected] and we will process your request promptly.

Upon account deletion, your personal data will be retained for 6 months in accordance with the NDPC General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID) 2025, after which it will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.
